Help Stephanie pay for the replacement window at Ampersand Bakehouse. On Wednesday, March 19th at 4:50 AM, an unidentified individual decided to throw a rock at our storefront and smash the window. This is a bummer.

This happens so often in our neighbourhood that the BIA had a pilot program to help small businesses with window replacement costs. Unfortunately, that program has ended. Double bummer. 

What about insurance, you say? The cost to replace the window is $750+ and our deductible is $500. The $250 that I could claim would make my policy no longer 'claim-free' and my monthly rate would go up when my policy is reviewed in October. So I would still end up paying that amount (and more) going forward.
